Over 30 million people, or more than half of the French population, are currently experiencing heatwave temperatures. According to AFP calculations, record-breaking temperatures have been observed in many regions across the country.

Heatwave temperatures have already reached record levels in numerous regions of France. Schools have been particularly affected, with hundreds of institutions having to adjust their schedules to protect students from overheated classrooms.
